We were the first facility in New Jersey to be Medicare approved and federally certified to perform endoscopic procedures. Diagnostic testing is achieved in a safe, convenient, non-threatening environment, eliminating the need for a hospital stay.
Endoscopic procedures*
The following procedures are performed at our Ambulatory Surgical Center:
- Colonoscopy with biopsy or polyp removal
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (Upper Endoscopy EGD)-to evaluate the upper GI tract
- Cauterization of bleeding
- Hemorrhoid treatment using infrared coagulation or banding techniques
*An Anesthesiologist is available for all endoscopic procedures
